Holy Trinity Montessori is expanding our school in the 2017-2018 school year and we are looking to add teachers in the following classroom communities:

  • Lower Elementary (6-9)
  • Upper Elementary (9-12)

Lead Teachers are responsible for creating a classroom and student experience that embodies the mission and vision of HTM. The Lead Teacher plans and implements all academic and organizational aspects of the classroom. Northern Kentucky Montessori Academy is seeking a Montessori professional for the position of Director of Academic Excellence (DAE). The DAE is an important member of the NKMA administrative team. The DAE schedules, plans and implements professional development processes and protocols for all NKMA faculty, from goal setting, through classroom observation, coaching and evaluation. Familiarity with all Montessori curriculum levels (Toddler through Upper Elementary) is required. Credentials required in one or more levels.  The DAE must understand and adhere to the requirements of an AMS Accredited School in all pertinent criteria areas. The DAE is responsible for coordinating and delegating Teacher Leadership Task Teams, faculty meetings, parent education events with the Head of School, and parent/teacher conferences for children with IEGP’s. The DAE copy edits parent/teacher conference reports as needed. The DAE also acts as the liaison between the Kenton County School district and NKMA. This position is currently part-time, with flexible hours, but with potential for full-time as the school continues to grow. Expected time requirements ranges from 15 to 30 hours a week depending on time of year. Salary is hourly (ranging from $25 to $38), based on experience and credentials.
