Spanish Teacher
Part-Time Position
Begins August, 2012

The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is seeking applicants for a Spanish teaching position. The teacher will work with children ages 3-9 (preschool through third grade). Children meet with the teacher three times/week.

Job requirements:

• Spanish language fluency
• Montessori training, background, and experience preferred
• A sincere enjoyment in working with children
• A deep respect for children and their potential
• Ability to observe and reflect on observations
• Ability to speak and move with grace, care, and precision

Schedule:

• Total hours: 16 hours/week
• Five days/week, app. 10:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. (some variations)
• Schedule includes 6 hours/week paid lunch/planning time
• School year calendar (late August-early June)
